TNK-BP Started Trading at International Commodity Exchange
OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2009. TNK-BP started trading its oil products at the Saint Petersburg International Commodity Exchange, a press release of the exchange informs, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.
At the first trading session with its participation, TNK-BP sold oil products on the following bases of delivery: diesel fuel DT 0.2—62 (Ryazan Oil Refinery and linear operating dispatcher stations Volodarskaya, Nagornaya, and Solnechnogorsk) and jet fuel TS-1 Grade I (fuel-filling company Sheremetyevo).
Approximately 5,300 tons of oil products for a total of 75.4 million rubles was sold at the last trading session. “The latest trading session with participation of TNK-BP has considerably expanded the geographic scope of oil products delivery bases” the press release says.
TNK-BP announced its intention to participate in trading sessions in late February 2009.
As reported earlier, the oil company Rosneft, too, started trading at the Saint Petersburg International Commodity Exchange in March.
