OREANDA-NEWS. April 01, 2009. One-week training courses to develop professional skills of the staff of commercial banks, particularly on the subject of "international standards of financial reporting in banks: theory and practice", were conducted in March at the faculty for growth of qualifications of the Banking and Finance Academy.

In total, 76 officers of commercial banks of Uzbekistan participated in the trainings, the press service of the BFA said. The training was facilitated by the professors and teachers of the Academy, as well as the leading specialists of the Department of Accounting of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Also, two-week training courses were conducted at the Banking and Finance Academy for 32 managers of the Turon Bank's departments on "modern banking" on 9 March – 3 April.
