OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2009. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated proceedings against the Krasnokamsk Paper Factory - a branch of the "GOZNAK" Federal State Unitary Enterprise (the Goznak Krasnokamsk Paper Factory) for violating Clause 5 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition", reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case was initiated upon a petition of the "488 Military Cartographic Factory" Federal State Unitary Enterprise, of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

According to the Petitioner, the Goznak Krasnokamsk Paper Factory violated the antimonopoly legislation by economically and technologically unjustified refusal to conclude a contract for buying and selling the goods "offset paper, grade "G", 85gr/m2", required for fabrication of cartographic products in spite of a possibility to supply the goods.

The "GOZNAK" Federal State Unitary Enterprise is the only economic entity in the Russian Federation that manufacturers royal paper, grade "G" 85 gr/m, and, therefore, has dominant position on this market in the Russian Federation.

Under Article 5 of the Federal Law "On State and Municipal Enterprises", a unitary enterprise bears responsibility for the activities of the subsidiaries formed by the unitary enterprise.
