Favourable business conditions will be created in Belarus for investors from the United Arab Emirates, said President Alexander Lukashenko as he met with Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Head of the S.B.K. Holding (UAE), reported the Official website president.gov.by.

‘Such a high-level visit as this is very important to us, and we understand that it is a signal to businessmen of the UAE to invest in Belarus’, said the President.

According to Alexander Lukashenko, the relationship between Belarus and the UAE is developing intensively and in the right direction for both states. ‘We see big interest of the UAE in building up co-operation with Belarus’, he said.

The President emphasised the importance of the fact that representatives of the UAE stand by their word and fulfil agreements, which is demonstrated, among other things, by the opening of the Belarus-UAE direct air service, as well as by the solving of many other issues.

At today’s meeting, President Alexander Lukashenko and Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan discussed Belarus-UAE co-operation projects involving specific Belarusian companies, and considered investment opportunities with regard to new production projects.

The Belarusian President conveyed best regards to the father of Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and confirmed his invitation to the leader of the United Arab Emirates to visit Belarus.
