OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 April 2009 was announced, that in all the branches of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” (JSC “FEGC”) has been commenced putting into commercial operation the module “Repair Control” of the complex informational system “Galaxy”, which will allow at maximal rate efficiency to schedule and fulfill the maintenance, repair and modernization of the electric power stations equipment, boiler shops and heating mains of the energy company. Actually it has been started the automation of control system over all production facilities of JSC “FEGC”.

“Automated computer software for repair control will allow to obtain from production facilities bigger return”, - noted Deputy General Director of JSC “FEGC” Aleksander TSYMBAL. – “this is the most important, taking into consideration that in the last year JSC “FEGC” has realized a raw of big scale investment projects, related with fuel diversification of the energy sites in Khabarovsky krai and increasing the capacity of the generating company of Primorye. All of them at account of large scale credit resources”.

New software product will allow to calculate all expenditures for specific energy site, for its maintenance, repair, replacing the spare parts – from the cost of materials and components to salary of operational and repair personnel. It will also record the volume of electric power produce and number of work hours of each unit of generating equipment, the volume of heat produce and number of work hours of water (steam) boilers, turbine units, accident rates.

All these data will be analyzed and archived. Having the informational database, it will be much easier to prospect possible breakdowns of equipment and prevent it by scheduled maintenance in advance. It will be not only positive influence on the stability of power supply to far easterners , but allow JSC “FEGC” to optimize the expenditures for annual repair program.

“Now, before allocation of funds, for example, to repair of a generator of one of our CHPPs, we will examine: how many hours it worked out, how many electric power it produced, how many steam it used, how many breakdowns it had. On the basis of efficiency calculation of its operation there will be the resolution: if there need to be repaired and in what scale”, - explained A. TSYMBAL.

We will note that JSC “FEGC” became one of the first energy companies, successfully introduced the “Galaxy”, automating all kinds of book-keeping and taxation recording, managing of personnel, financial, contractual and claim administrating, logistics, etc. Nowadays, all companies of one of the biggest Russian generating company*, geographically remote one from another, cooperate in the united informational space. Automation of governing of production assets is the next step of JSC “Far Eastern Generating Company” in this direction.

* Installed electric capacity of the energy sources of JSC “FEGC” is MW5,850, heat – Gcalh 11,574, the production of electric power in 2008 is kWh20.7 bill, heat power –Gcal 21.7 mil.

JSC “FEGC” is producing heat and electric power, and provide centralized heating of the customers in the areas of location of generating capacities: Khabarovsky and Primorsky krais, Amurskaya and Jewish Autonomous oblasts, in the south of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The territory of activity of the company covers the 1/10th part of RF.

JSC “FEGC” is established in the result of reforming of the energy companies, comprising in the united energy system of the Far East, and started its operation on January 1, 2007. In JSC “FEGC” there were incorporated the thermal power stations and heating mains of joint stock companies “Amurenergo”, “Khabarovskenergo”, “Dalenergo”, entire Luchegorsky fuel and energy complex (CJSC “LuTEK”) and Neryungrinskaya TPP (south energy area of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)).

From July 1, 2008 JSC “FEGC” is entered into JSC “RAO Energy Systems of the East” as a part of holding JSC “FEEC”.
