OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 March 2009 was announced, that during last week Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 243.8 mln to its customers under car, real-estate and comprehensive mortgage insurance in Moscow and in the Moscow region.

Among larger payments, there’s a compensation of over RUB 1.6 mln paid for the Volvo FM truck damaged in an accident. The vehicle was covered by the motor hull insurance and was repaired in the partner maintenance shop.

On March 18, Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 2.6 mln to the owner of the  Scania P114 truck for the total loss of the vehicle in the accident that took place in the Novgorod region on the Rossia motorway. The company also compensated over RUB 2.3 mln for total loss of Scania P114 in an accident in the Saratov region.

Besides, on March 16, there was a large compensation paid under comprehensive mortgage insurance. Because of the death of the insured person, Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 2.7 mln – the due portion of the mortgage loan.
