OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2009. Wilfried Pototschnig will join the Corporate Finance Department, M&A Industry at PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia, reported the press-centre of PwC.

Wilfried Pototschnig was born in 1968 in Austria. In 1993, he graduated from the Vienna University of Business Administration and Economics, earning both an MBA and a PhD.

Since 1993 Wilfried has been advising on M&A transactions in Central and East Europe as well and Russia and CIS. For almost three years Wilfried was the deputy head of Emerging Markets in the Vienna Office of Raiffeisen Investment AG and, from 2001 to 2002, he headed the Investment Banking Group of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria. In 2002, Wilfried Pototschnig joined KPMG Corporate Finance as the head of M&A and Private Equity for Russia and the CIS region.
