OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 March 2009 was announced, that Kurkino township scheduled to be completed in 2010 is to become the best among the new-built townships of Moscow.

“We are completing the construction of Kurkino. Almost all of residential buildings have been raised, there is one more neighbourhood to be developed in the area currently occupied by the radio fields which will be removed and the additional housing will be raised instead. Besides, a little number of low-rise homes will be erected within Kurkino that has already formed as well as a clinic and the second exit road from the township into the MKAD,” Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow Mayor, said on March 28.

According to the official, a golf course is also to be added to the township under construction. The whole development is to be completed in 2010, except the neighbourhood to substitute the radio fields.

“Kurkino will be the best of Moscow’s new townships. It will feature the structures of various architectural styles – from the individual projects to the industrial ones,” Mr Resin emphasized.
