Collective Agreement of Irkutsk Electric Grid Company Adopted
OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 March 2009 was announced, that a conference of labour team of Irkutsk Electric Grid Company Ltd. was held today. It was devoted to the adoption of The Collective Agreement 2009-2011. Delegates, heads and chiefs of departments of IEGC Ltd., directors of branches and members of the bilaterial commission took part in the work of the conference.
Today 3,100 people work with Irkutsk Electric Grid Company Ltd. Employees' interests at negotiations were represented by primary trade-union organization which attends 2,396 people.
The interaction between the employer and the primary trade-union organization are build under the principles of social partnership, cooperation, mutual understanding and respect for interests of each other, observance of laws and norms of the operating Collective Agreement of IEGC Ltd..
Deputy Director for Economy and Finance Alexey Hvostov spoke on the instructions of Director of IEGC Ltd. Boris Karatayev with the report on performance of The Collective Agreement 2007-2008 and the work of the commission on signing The Collective Agreement 2009-2011.
In his report, Alexey Yurievich noted that the employer strictly observed the obligations which were undertaken under the Collective Agreement adopted in March 2007. Indexation of the tariff rate according to an index of growth of consumer prices in the Russian Federation was quarterly performed. Monthly average wages in 2007 were RUR 20,722; in 2008 they were RUR 26,799. For 2008, the monthly average wages grew in comparison with 2007 by 29.3%. Measures of social protection were carried out and privileges and guarantees were given to all employees of the company.
Since 24 November 2008, the program of non-state provision of pensions to employees was implemented in the company. Now more than 400 employees signed contracts for pension plans "Stability", "Stimulus", "Team". In 2008 payment of rent of habitation to 29 young experts according to The Company Regulations was performed.
Provision of employees with healthy and safe working conditions is one of priority lines of the Company activities. All actions on protection and observance of the working conditions approved by the previous collective agreement have been executed in full. The competition for the title "Best Labout Safety Authorixed Person" is annually held.
