OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2009. The mining equipment division in the engineering subgroup of Uralmash Machine-building Corporation has concluded a contract with Sukholozhskcement (Sverdlovsk oblast) for delivery of cement equipment. The general delivery scope is 160 tons, term of contract is up to 10 months starting from the moment of advance payment. Uralmashplant will be manufacturing the equipment.

Sukholozhskcement will receive a body of a 4ґ13,5 rotary mill, complete with covers, a spiral conveyor and a diaphragm. As the director of the mining equipment, Sergey Chervyakov, says, "It is the first time that Uralmash produces a cement mill of this standard size. After the contract is fulfilled, we are going to develop manufacture of main types of cement mills."

This is the first large contract with Sukholozhskcement after a significant recess. Earlier, in mid-fifties, Uralmash has produced one of the largest rotary kilns for the company.

It was the adherence to individual customer requests and new proposed design solutions that made the renewal of cooperation possible. "We did our best to gather all possible information and to fulfill all customer requirements", Mr. Chervyakov says. "If we complete the contract in due terms and with due quality, we can expect to receive further orders from this customer."

Currently, Uralmash has in production more than 500 tons of equipment for later delivery to different companies: for "Evrocement-Resurs", "Topkinsky cement" and "Cement Engineering Company", and a second kiln body is under construction for Novotroitsk plant. Additionally, the equipment for the cement factory in Teploozersk has already been shipped, and the mill bodies for Akhangarancement (Uzbekistan) are being prepared for shipment.
