On March 24-27, 2009, Deputy Director General Stefan Kollar visited the annual specialized exhibition and conference SATELLITE 2009 in Washington, D.C., a forum covering all aspects of the global satellite communications market such as defense, emergency, corporate and commercial applications. Apart from talking to Intersputnik’s key customers, Stefan Kollar made a presentation at the Global VSAT forum, dedicated to the growing role of Russia, and specifically, Eastern Europe, in the field of international satellite telecommunications services and as a consequence, aggressive competition between the countries in Eastern and Western Europe.
