OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2009. Underwriter of OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation European Bureau, Aizhan Bukeykhanova participated in the III International Conference “Insurance in Central Asia” which took place on 19-20 March in Almaty (Kazakhstan). The event was organized by InterConsult Company with the support of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and supervision of financial market and financial organizations as well as Financial Institutions' Association of Kazakhstan.

Being a tradition, the conference gathers top-managers of insurance, reinsurance, brokerage and consulting companies as well as representatives and heads of financial and insurance supervision authority of CIS countries, national and international associations. This year about a hundred of specialists from ten countries of the world participated in the Conference.  

Apart from direct participation in the conference the representative of Transsiberian Re held multiple negotiations with partners from Kazakhstan, the market of which is the most important for Transsiberian Re. At the present moment the Corporation directly cooperates with 14 local insurance companies (there is a total of 44 registered companies) and receives business through brokers.
