OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 March 2009 was announced, that the city authorities are to develop bus terminals close to the terminuses of the Moscow metro to solve the problem of wildcat bus parking.

“We are looking into the issue to create bus terminals at the metro terminuses. It will be convenient for people and at the same time we will solve the problem of bus parking in the yards of central Moscow, not far from the railway stations, which causes air pollution,” Aleksey Aleksandrov, prefect of Moscow’s central administrative district, said.

According to the official, there are some yards within central Moscow where a number of buses, some of which are equipped with bunks, from the other towns park and trouble residents of the nearby houses and the local motorists.
