OREANDA-NEWS. On March 30, 2009 A delegation of the Knowledge and Economy Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea visited Uzbekneftegaz national holding company. The Korean delegation included representatives of KNOC.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the joint projects, including perspectives of exploration of Chust-Pap and Namangan-Tergach investment blocks in Ferghana region and the Uzbek part of Aral Sea, where KNOC is member of international consortium.

The Korean side also expressed its assurance on effective joint activity in Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

The sides underlined importance of the project on construction of Ustyurt Gas-Chemical Complex at Surgil hydrocarbon fields.
