OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2009.  The Kemerovo Branch of the Bank of Moscow is celebrating 10 years of work in Kuzbas. Since its inception, the Branch has become one of the biggest creditors of the region’s corporate and retail sectors. The balance sheet profit of the Kemerovo Branch more than doubled over 2008, to reach RUR 454.4 mln.

The aggregate credit portfolio of the Kemerovo Branch (corporate and private clients) amounted, as of 1 January, 2009, to about RUR 6 bln, an increase of 23% during 2008.

The Kemerovo Branch currently has over 4.6 thousand enterprises and organisations in the region as its clients. The client base consists predominantly of enterprises in the leading industries of the region: the fuel and energy complex, the metal and chemical industries, including OJCS Koks, OJCS Raspadskaya, OJCS Gurievskiy Metal Works, OJCS Azot and OJCS Kuzbas Fuel Company.

The Kemerovo Branch of the Bank of Moscow is one of the leading credit institutions in the region in the sphere of financial innovations and modern service technologies. In particular, over 2.3 thousand corporate clients of the Branch make use of the Client-Bank and Inter-Banking remote account management systems.

Retail is one of the priority spheres of development of the Branch. Currently, over 132 thousand individuals are clients of the Bank of Moscow in the Kemerovo Region. The number of bank cards issued exceeds 116 thousand. More than 330 organisations and enterprises now pay their employees’ salaries to cards issued by the Bank of Moscow and participants in payroll projects enjoy credit extension benefits. Today, in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk and Leninsk-Kuznetsk, there are 52 Bank of Moscow ATMs in operation. The Kemerovo Branch includes 6 additional offices, 3 of them in Novokuznetsk and 1 in Leninsk-Kuznetsk.

The achievements of the Kemerovo Branch have won it a number of distinguished regional awards. The Branch has participated repeatedly in the Kuzbas Brand competition, which is held annually by the Kuzbas Chamber of Commerce and Industry in conjunction with the Administration of the Region and has been recognised on four occasions (2005 −2008) as the best Trade Mark of the Kuzbas in the category "Finance and Credit". For several years running, the Branch has won awards in the category "Big and medium-size enterprises" of the "Reliable Partner" competition held by the Kemerovo City Administration.

The Kemerovo Branch of the Bank of Moscow was opened on 25 March, 1999.
