OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2009. Krasnoyarsk Synthetic Rubber Plant forming part of SIBUR Holding JSC has become the first to launch the production of butadiene-nitrile rubber powder (BNRP) in Russia.

The production process for the new unit with an estimated capacity of 500 kg/h was designed by Pallmann Maschinenfabrik of Germany, a leading manufacturer of equipment for grinding various materials.

The new product to be obtained from the company's own raw material will enable the company to increase the volume of sales on the domestic market for account of BNRP import substitution, as well as to decrease the commercial risks if a drop in demand for briquetted rubber.
