Ingosstrakh Insured Liability of North-West Interregional Grid Company
OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in St.Petersburg won tender and third party liability insurance for Interregional Distribution Grid Company of the North-West. Total liability limit is RUB 223.1 mln.
Under the contract, the company insured its liability for damage caused during operation of hazardous industrial facilities of its branches: Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, Karelenergo, Kolenergo, Novgorodenergo, Pskovenergo, Komienergo.
Interregional Distribution Grid Company of the North-West (OAO “MRSK Severo-Zapada”) has been operating as a uniform operational company since April 1, 2008 (previously, it was a 100%-owned subsidiary of RAO UES of Russia). It has seven branches: Arkhenergo, Vologdaenergo, Karelenergo, Kolenergo, Komienergo, Novgorodenergo, Pskovenergo. Its service territory is 1.58 mln. sq.m. with 6.7 mln. residents. Total length of overhead transmission lines and cables is 169.3 k. km. It has 1141 substations of 35 kW and more on its balance sheet, the installed capacity of power transformers of the substations is 17.5 k MVA.
Its authorized capital is RUB 9.5787 bln. 55.4 % of the stock capital belongs to OAO Holding MRSK.
