OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that JSC "Krasnoyarskenergosbyt" had concluded two contracts for purchase of electric energy and capacity from JSC Irkutskenergo for nearby RUR 803.6 million.

The agreements on sale and purchase for RUR 358.6 million and RUR 445 million are effective from 2 March till 31 December 2009 inclusive. The amount of the transactions is 12.8% and 15.9% of the Krasnoyarskenergosbyt asset value accordingly.

JSC "Krasnoyarskenergosbyt" explained to Sibirskie Novosti that they annually bought electric power and capacity from large suppliers from the next regions, thus the price of Irkutskenergo products was frequently below those of the competitors.

The largest shareholders of JSC Irkutskenergo are Rosimushchestvo (Federal Property Management Agency) (40%) and EuroSibEnergo energy company which manages a large share holding in interests of En + Group.

JSC "Krasnoyarskenergosbyt" was established in 2005 as a result of the reform of JSC "Krasnoyarskenergo" on the basis of Energosbyt (energy selling) branch; it is a subsidiary of JSC "RusHydro Energy Selling Company". The value of JSC "Krasnoyarskenergosbyt" assets as of 30 September 2008 was RUR 2.8 billion.
