OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that the ACI (Airport Council International) has announced the results of the annual Airport Service quality Survey - the most thorough airport benchmarking program available. In 2008 Moscow International Airport Domodedovo was amongst top 5 international airports in categories:

- best airport by region ( Europe)

- best airport by size of airport

In 2008 the large-scale ACQ Survey was conducted in 108 airports worldwide. One of the main aims of the survey program is to enable airports to understand and respond to the needs of their passengers.

Interviewing covers every day of the week and every month of the year and captures the passengers’ perception of the quality of more than 30 aspects of airport services. All service aspects from time spent on registration and passport control, the general infrastructure of the airport to clean and comfortable waiting areas, friendliness of staff, good signage and ready accessible washrooms were taken into account.

Upon receiving such high appraisal from passengers Domodedovo became the only Russian airport amongst acclaimed international leaders.

Today, Domodedovo offers a state-of-the-art passenger terminal, wide range of services available for passengers and airlines, quality compliant with the highest European standards.
