500 Homes Will Be Overhauled in Moscow
OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 March 2009 was announced, that the city authorities of Moscow are to have 534 residential buildings overhauled within 2009, Artur Keskinov, head of Moscow’s Department for Urban Overhaul, said.
“Last year 1,640 homes were overhauled in the city, more than 600 among them will undergo an additional repair aimed at improving their energy efficiency. 534 homes will undergo an all-inclusive overhaul this year,” the official noted.
Mr Keskinov added that financial outlays for overhauling a square metre had been risen by roughly 3 times, compared with 2008.
“Last year we spent 2,140 roubles (~USD 64) for revamping a square metre within the selective overhaul. This year the figure has gone up to 4,500 roubles (~USD 134) within the all-inclusive overhaul,” the head of Moscow’s Department for Urban Overhaul specified.
