OREANDA-NEWS. On March 23, 2009 Russian Agricultural Bank and the Administration of Altay Territory signed Cooperation Agreement on Implementation of the Federal Program on Agribusiness Development 2008-2012, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

In the framework of the Cooperation Agreement RAB will extend investment loans for the development of priority agribusiness subsectors, and for technical and technological modernization of the regional agribusiness.

The Bank will ensure credit availability for agricultural producers, including farmers and household plots owners, and development of housing construction in rural areas. Besides, the Cooperation Agreement provides for the development of land mortgage lending system and creation of consumer credit cooperatives.
