Kyrgyz Govt to Protect Businesses through Constitutional Arrangements

The proposal was put forward by Akylbek Japarov, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, at a meeting of the Parliament Committee on defense, security, rule of law and judicial and legal reform. The Minister’s proposals were supported by the Committee.
Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes to make changes and additions to the Civil, Administrative and Criminal codes, introducing stricter penalties for public officials acting contrary to the governmental policy aimed to support the businesses.
