OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2009. A delegation of Valeo Group (France) visited Vladimir Production Association “Tochmash” (Vladimir, 100% subsidiary of Atomenergoprom OJSC) on Mar 24 2009. The key objective of the visit was familiarization with Tochmash’s production capacities and conduct of negotiations on possibilities of cooperation.

Valeo is planning to supply a number of components for AVTOVAZ OJSC and is considering the possibility of buying some of them from Tochmash, which is Russia’s only producer of steering column switches.

The French delegation was led by Vice President for International Development Thierry Dreux, Tochmash was represented by First Deputy Director General Yevgeny Sirotkin.

The parties discussed possibilities for joint production of car components on the basis of Tochmash as well as Valeo’s technical parameters and quality requirements and Tochmash’s technological capacities. The French guests visited the company’s automobile accessories and devices workshop.
