OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2009. State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ extended the third tranche of the credit worth 285 million US dollars to Joint Stock Commercial Bank –Industrial Investment Bank (Prominvestbank), Ukraine.

The opening of a credit line for Prominvestbank in the amount of 1 billion US dollars was approved by Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board on February 4, 2009 in order to implement the plan aimed at financial rescue of Prominvestbank.

As of today, Vnesheconombank provided Prominvestbank with credit funds in full. The first tranche of the credit worth 390 million US dollars was extended to Prominvestbank on February 10, 2009, the second tranche worth 325 million dollars – on February 20.
