OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2009. In January-February, 2009, 86,95% new shares less than at the same period of 2008, were issued at the primary securities market.

According to the National Commission on Financial Market (NCFM), in January-February 2009, emissions in the amount of 25.77 million leis, or 171.69 million leis less than at the same period of 2008 (197, 46 million leis) were issued.

In February 2009, the shares, issued in time of the establishment of the joint stock companies and during the additional emissions, registered by NCFM, amounted to 24.03 million leis. The reduction of investments in the primary securities market was due to the decline in the additional emission of shares by 86.73% as compared to February 2008.

In February 2009, 4 emissions of securities placed in time of the establishment of joint stock companies for 0,87 million leis and 25 additional emissions worth about 23.16 million leis were registered.
