OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2009. ROSNO’s Nizhny Novgorod branch has extended the property insurance contract with Artan Ltd., Volkswagen’s authorized dealer in Nizhny Novgorod, for one more year, with the aggregate insurance amount of 47,595,570 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The contract contemplates insurance coverage of goods in circulation, namely the cars kept at the dealer’s outdoor and indoor sites. These goods have been provided a 24-hour insurance protection against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, storm, hail, other natural disasters, damage by water from water supply, heating and sewage systems; and deliberate third-party actions aimed at damaging the insured property.

The insurance period is 1 year.

Artan Ltd. has been entrusting ROSNO with insurance coverage of its property for several consecutive years, and the company’s insurance policy has already helped it to get through an unforeseen situation. Last March, during the night storm, a blown-away roof from the private garage located nearby fell on the dealer’s outdoor site. This occurrence has been classified as insured accident in the risk category "Storm and hail". ROSNO has paid Artan an insurance compensation of 181,302 roubles.
