Gas Processing Plant to Move from Yashyldepe to Bagaja
OREANDA-NEWS. On 23 March 2009 was announced, that under a special resolution signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a plant designed for removal of sulfur from natural gas and production of liquefied gas will be relocated from Yashyldepe field. Canadian company Thermodesign Engineering Ltd will dismantle and shift a gas treatment plant to Bagaja field.
The state concern Turkmengaz and the Canadian company will sign a supplementary agreement to the contract signed on 20 October 2004. The agreement will provide for an increase in the project cost by USD 10.350 million (VAT included) to the original price agreed, the extension of the contract period and amendments to the contract, including change of the company's bank address and terms of payment.
The annual capacity of the plant is 50 thousand tons of liquefied gas, 200 tons of gas condensate and 1 million tons of tank gas.
