OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 March 2009 was announced, that in Kazakhstan monthly average nominal salary of one worker in January 2008 was 61 378 tenge (150.29/USD 1). It increased up to 12.7% in comparison with the same period of last year.

According to statistics, the highest salary in the sectoral structure is still in financial activity – 130.8 thousand tenge, mining industry – 106.8 thousand tenge, real estate operations sphere – 94.4 thousand tenge and transport and communications – 79.5 thousand tenge.

Statisticians say that agriculture and fishery workers’ salary is 27.7 thousand tenge and 24.0 thousand tenge, this is lower than the indicator around the state up to 55-61%.

According to statistics agency, the highest salaries are in Atyrau oblast – 115.1 thousand tenge that 1.9 times exceeds average salary in the state

In north-Kazakhstan oblast it is 40.5 thousand tenge, Zhambyl oblast – 41.3 thousand tenge, Akmola oblast – 42.4 thousand tenge that is 31-34% lower than average level in the state.
