OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2009 was announced, that OJSC Insurance Company "Universalna" had insured the first official rally on "Chayka" cars, which took place on March 15 at motordrome "Chayka".

The company has insured the competition organizer by the voluntary third party liability insurance.

In addition, 160 participants have been insured by the voluntary accident and health insurance during the competition at "Universalna".

Rally "Chayka" has established the record by the number of participants: 86 teams took part in competition, with 79 made it to the finishing line.

Anpilogov-Tulubko has become the quickest crew in the absolute team event and LA-1 class. LA-1 class has been led by Igor Ivasyuk, LA-3 class — by Vitaliy Geraschenko. Dmitriy Mykytenko has become the first in the less powerful LA-4 class.

Ivan Ostapchenko has become the leader in the separate team event for participants in sport cars. He has been holding leadership during the whole day.
