OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2009 was announced, that Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a number of decrees and resolutions on senior personnel changes in the financial-economic system of Turkmenistan.

Begench Chopanov has been appointed head of the governing board of the Garagum international joint-stock bank of Turkmenistan. He has been relieved of his duties of deputy head of the governing board of Halk bank state commercial bank of Turkmenistan.

In accordance with a resolution of the head of state, Akmyrat Mammedov has been relieved of his duties of head of the governing board of Garagum international joint-stock bank of Turkmenistan and appointed deputy minister of economy and development of Turkmenistan.
