OREANDA-NEWS. On March 18, 2009  Bail-out measures of the Government called to stabilize the situation in aircraft building area have already brought positive results. Yulia Tymoshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, informed at the beginning of the Cabinet of Ministers’ sitting.

Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed in the framework of anti-crisis program of the Government two largest national aircraft production enterprises are being invigorated: Kharkiv State Aviation Production Enterprise and State Enterprise “Kyiv Aviation Plant Aviant”.

The Prime Minister reminded owing to the decisions of the Government the mentioned enterprises had increased their statutory funds that resulted into a possibility to start realization of a program of plane construction and pay off arrears of wages to the staff. “This program is called to ensure orders for aircraft building domain for the following 10-15 years and we will spare no efforts to make real such financial invigoration of the branch,” Yulia Tymoshenko urged.

Also the PM accentuated the Government continues to stabilize the situation in aviation area. In particular, on Friday, March 20, Gov’t assembles to tackle anti-crisis measures in aviation domain with participation of representatives of the banking sector and aviation enterprises: “On Friday we will continue activity into devising joint steps of banks and aircraft building enterprises in the mentioned domain. Little by little we will achieve our goal which is to make aircraft building branch more powerful and financially sound”.
