OREANDA-NEWS. On 18 March 2009 was announced, that between March 2 and 8 Ingosstrakh paid in excess of RUR 161.5mln to its retail clients based in Moscow and the Moscow Region under property and motor insurance claims.

Among the large-scale payments, one can point out the compensation in excess of RUR 4.5 mln made to the owner of a Lexus LS 460 reported stolen in the South West Administrative District of Moscow.

Ingosstrakh also paid more than RUR 1.6 mln for the theft of a Mercedes-Benz G 500 from the parking lot of a shopping center in Maryina Rosha District of Moscow.

On March 2 Ingosstrakh paid more than RUR 3.4 mln to the owner of a dacha in the Istra District (Moscow Region) in compensation for the loss of the summer house in a fire caused by the short-circuiting of the electric wiring.
