OREANDA-NEWS. On 18 March 2009 the President of ROSHEN Confectionary Corporation informed media representatives about the latest news and plans for the future during the press conference.

V. Moskalevskiy let know of an investment project in Russia: ROSHEN Corporation intends to build a new factory in Lipetsk with production capacity of 10 thousand tons of chocolate products per month, with total area of 40-50 thousand square meters.

"Taking into consideration that Lipetsk confectionary factory currently produces every fourth hard candy in Russia, we strive for the same result in segment of chocolate sweets as well due to the new factory construction", - V. Moskalevskiy noted.

At present the land is being received for the project, design stage is planned to be finished and construction permit is to be received by the end of the year.

At the same time, according to V. Moskalevskiy, Roshen Corporation postpones the construction of its second factory in Vinnitsa for indefinite periods, this project is supposed to be approved in April.

Concerning production plans V.Moskalevskiy informed that milk and black chocolate with whole hazel-nuts will be produced in the nearest future. ROSHEN Corporation specialists also master a new kind of product that is a nougat in bulk, which will come into the market by the beginning of summer. In 2009 the assortment of Kyiv Vechirniy boxes will be considerably increased.

The president of Corporation has also noted that the corporate pricing policy remains constant and the cost of products rises only as far as its cost price increases.
