OREANDA-NEWS. On 18 March 2009 was announced, that the workshop on “Technical assistance and information exchange tool (TAIEX) in Armenia, current situation and cooperation prospects for 2009” took place on March 10 at the Ministry of Economy.

The meeting was organizing with the initiative of European Commission and assistance of the RA Ministry of Economy. Numbers of representatives from various Ministries were invited to participate in the event.

Technical assistance and information exchange tool’s current activities in Armenia and key priorities for 2009 were presented to the participants by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and European Commission. Panel discussions on assessment and improvement of “TAIEX” events were organized also.

Topics presented for panel discussion:

1) Upgrading the quality and efficiency of TAIEX activities.

2) Assessment and boosting of TAIEX activities.
