OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2009. According to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in February of 2009 as compared to January general growth of industrial production amounted 5.4%.

The highest showing demonstrated belongs to production of rubber and plastic goods – 135%, which is included into the structure of chemical and oil-processing industry (general growth amounts 127.8%).

High increase also falls to light industry (plus 20%), woodworking branch (plus 28.8%), pulp and paper industry (plus 25.3%), machine-building (plus 21.8%).

Metallurgic domain is also facing boost and shows off the growth at 12.3% in February against the previous month.
