OREANDA-NEWS. On March 12-13, 2009 Sergey Kudryashov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation visited OAO TATNEFT, familiarizing with the innovational experience of the Company and small independent oil companies of the Republic and also took part in the exchange of views on measures of state support of the oil industry, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

In the city of Nizhnekamsk the Deputy Minister was demonstrated work on modernization of the tire manufacturing company OAO Nizhnekamskshina, which is the main production entity of TATNEFT's petrochemical branch, and the construction of the refinery and   petrochemical plants Complex of OAO TANEKO.

In the city of Almetyevsk Sergey Kudryashov attended the meeting arranged by Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the leaders of the independent oil companies to discuss problems of activity of small and medium-sized oil business in the Republic. Speaking at the meeting, he noted that Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Russia, talking at the meeting in Kirishi on  February 12 assigned the government with a number of  challenging tasks for the further development of the oil industry, and this was actually the reason of Mr. Kudryshov's visit to Tatarstan. Sergey Kudryashov advocated the need for the state support for the further development of the oil industry, and ensured that many of the issues raised at the meeting would be taken into consideration in the future work.

Later he visited a number of oil production infrastructural facilities of TATNEFT, which successfully applied technologies and developments of the Company's experts and scientists of TATNEFT's structural division: TatNIPIneft R&D Institute. OOO Tatneft-TruboprovodServis Management Company demonstrated to Sergey Kudryashov operation of the plant for production of metal-reinforced plastic pipes.

In OAO Tatneft-TSBPO RBO i ST of Leninogorsk he familiarized with operation of the facility for weld building-up of drill pipe tool joints, as well as with manufacturing of doghouse facilities and M1-X packers. At the Bugulma Mechanical Factory he was demonstrated a production line of pipes with anticorrosive coating, manufacturing of chain drives for sucker rod pumping systems, etc.

The new technologies of TATNEFT are aimed at reducing energy consumption, improving   the oil production efficiency and environmental safety. In addition, the placement of orders with the manufacturers of the equipment by the service enterprises of the Joint Stock Company guarantees not only high quality, but, also provides stable jobs for thousands of people in one of the oldest oil producing regions of the country.

Sergei Kudryashov, Deputy Energy Minister of Russia, highly appreciated the visit's results, noting that TATNEFT is a powerful organism, and its experience accumulated over many years of operation deserves the closest attention.
