On 17 March 2009 was announced, that “Passenger transportation” JSC (“PT”, subsidiary of the national railway company “Kazakhstan temir zholy”) increases the number of passenger trains during the period of Nauryz celebration (new year holiday according to the solar calendar of eastern people), informed the press-service of PT.

“Passenger transportation” JSC announces the launch of additional train #35/36 Almaty-2 – Astana, - it is said in the message of press-service.

According to the information of the company, waggonage of 12 cars for 230 places will transport passengers during days before Nauryz and Nauryz from March 19-25.

In particular, the train will depart from Almaty-2 station on March 19, 21, 23, from Astana station on March 20, 22, 24. The train will stop at the following stations: Almaty-1, Shu, Otar, Sary-Shagan, Mojynty, Akadyr, and Karaganda.
