OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2009. British Institute of analysis Economist Intelligence Unit predicts that in 2009 GDP of Moldova will decrease by 1%.

In the report on the country, the British experts noted that the current year GDP of Moldova will decrease and economic growth will resume only in 2010 and will make approximately 3%.

The official forecast of Moldovan authorities on the economic growth in 2009 is 6%. According to the latest IMF forecasts, in 2009 GDP growth in Moldova will make 5%.

On the other hand, EBRD economists ascertain that in 2009 the economy of Moldova can register growth of 4,1%.
