OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2009. The Andijankabel, one of the leading producers of cable products in Uzbekistan, will get 5 million US dollars to purchase the new producing line, the Narodnoye slovo newspaper wrote, reported the Official website www.investuzbekistan.uz.

The credit was allotted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The financing will allow the enterprise to purchase new equipment on producing the copper wires, power cable, cables for local computer network and other of their kinds.

In its turn, it will help company to consolidate its position at the local market and extend the sphere of sales abroad. It is remarkable that now 75 percent of products of the enterprise are being exported.

At the moment, the Andijankabel produces cables for such branches of industry as telecommunications, construction, energy and car making. At the same time, it remains to be the only producer in Uzbekistan of the cables for local computer networks.
