OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 March 2009 was announced, that the Board of Directors, IDGC of Centre, JSC, has approved the members of the Committee or Technological Connection to Electric Networks and elected its Chairman.

The first meeting of the committee is down for 19 March. The meeting participants will elect Deputy Chairman and approve the work schedule for the first and second quarters of the current year.

IDGC of Centre, JSC is represented in the committee by Deputy General Director for Development and Execution of Grid Services Vadim Fyodorov, Head of the Department for Technological Connection Eduard Rakovsky and Director for Development and Execution of Services, IDGC of Centre, JSC, Konstantin Petukhov.  The minority shareholders of the company will be represented by Head of the Department for Energy Policy, Novolipetsk Steel, JSC Sergei Chebotaryov, Deputy Director of Prosperity Capital Management Moscow Office Roman Filkin and member of the Board of Directors, Vice President of Halcyon Advisors Alexei Klaptsov. Alexei Klaptsov was elected Chairman of the Committee for Technological Connection to Electric Networks under the Board of Directors.

The committee was set up to provide transparency in the company’s activity and free access to the services of technological connection of consumers to the Company’s electric networks. In particular, the committee members will analyse some business activities of the company and prepare recommendations to the boards of directors. This will concern improvement of internal regulations and standards of the company under the specified business activity and development of principles and criteria of assessment of the Company’s activity in technological connection of consumers to electric networks.
