OREANDA-NEWS. On March 16, 2009 Shymkent Munai Onimderi (South Kazakhstan), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE in a letter the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be held March 23, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. with the following agenda, reported the press-centre of KASE:

- approval of the charter of Shymkent Munai Onimderi in a new edition;

- determination of audit organization to audit annual financial statements of Shymkent Munia Onimderi;

- approval of the corporate governance code of Shymkent Munai Onimderi in a new edition.

The venue of the meeting: 7th km. Lengerskoe highway, Shymkent.

The list of shareholders, entitled to participate in the meeting, is compiled as on February 19, 2009.

In case of absence of a quorum the recurrent meeting of shareholders will be held March 24, 2009 at the same time at the address as above.
