OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 March 2009 Rambler Media Ltd. (“Rambler” or the “Company”), which operates one of Russia’s most popular internet brands, announced the appointment of Mr. Konstantin Vorontsov as the Company’s new Head of Corporate Communications with immediate effect.

Based in Moscow, Konstantin Vorontsov reports directly to the Company’s Senior Management and Board of Directors. Konstantin will also work with Shared Value, Rambler’s Financial Communications adviser, based in London. His appointment reflects Rambler’s efforts to maintain open and transparent dialogue with the public and the financial community in order to achieve a fair understanding and valuation of its business.

Konstantin’s responsibilities will include the development of strategic investor and public initiatives and objectives, the production of financial reports and updates as well as maintaining the day-to-day relations with investors, research analysts and the business press in Moscow.

Before joining Rambler Media, Konstantin Vorontsov spent over three years of his career at Prof-Media Holding, Rambler’s parent company, firstly as Director of Public Relations from October 2004 to May 2007 and lastly as Head of Investor Relations from May 2008 until his appointment at Rambler. His previous experience includes working as PR and Corporate Communications Director at one of Russia’s leading TV Group, CTC Media, listed on NASDAQ, where he successfully broadened and developed public relations activities. Konstantin Vorontsov’s background is in journalism. From February 2003 to October 2004, he was a Business Reporter for Russian Business daily newspaper Kommersant.  Konstantin is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism of Lomonosov Moscow State University and was voted top media industry PR and Communications officer by the Russian Management Association (AMR) and Kommersant two years in a row in 2007 and 2008.
