OREANDA-NEWS. March 11, 2009. According to the data of the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks, as of 31 January 2009, Aizkraukles Banka is currently ranked first in terms of amount of corporate deposits placed, reported the press-centre of Aizkraukles Banka.

While in January the amount of corporate deposits placed with most of the other banks continued to decrease, in Aizkraukles Banka it grew by 8.1% (LVL 51.33 million), amounting to LVL 686.6 million.

According to the Aizkraukles Banka Chief Financial Officer Maris Kannnenieks, the deposit amount has also grown in February. Moreover, not only amount of deposits is increasing, but also they are placed for longer terms.
