OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 March 2009 was announced, that the Russian Flax - 2009 held in Vologda from February 26 through March 1 hosted some 190 exhibitors from 24 Russian regions and participants from Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Over 19,000 visitors came the exhibition-fair.

The event was visited by such honorary guests as Russia's most famous fashion designer and a decorated member of the RF Academy of Arts Valentin Yudashkin, President of the Russian Silhouette Fund Tatyana Mikhalkova and chairman of Russian People's Crafts Association Gennady Drozhzhin.
