OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 March 2009 Svyazinvest announced a new executive appointment.  Alexander Yurevich Provotorov was named to the position of first deputy general director of the company.

In his new position, Alexander Provotorov will be in charge of business strategy and restructuring the Svyazinvest Group of companies, as well as corporate development, mergers and acquisitions and public relations.

Short biography:

Alexander Yurevich Provotorov was born on November 7, 1974 in Moscow.

In 1996 he graduated from the law department of the Moscow State University named after I.V. Lomonosov.

2001-2003 – Head of the legal department of Gazprom Media, member of the board.

2003-2005 – Vice-president of the investment department of Sputnik Group.

2005-2009 – Senior managing director of Marshal Capital funds, general director of Marshal Capital.
