OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 March 2009 was announced, that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev invested 46 Russians with orders, medals and diplomas provided evidence that each of them obtained a title of honour on 5 March 2009. Among the recipients of awards was Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow Mayor at City Hall and head of Integrated Body for Urban Design Policy and Development of Moscow.

Under decree No 1881 issued by President Medvedev on 31 December 2008, Mr Resin was awarded the Order of Merit for Country of the IV Degree for “an active participation in the implementation of actions aimed at restoring housing and infrastructure of the Republic of South Ossetia.”
