OREANDA-NEWS. March 10, 2009. Ukio bankas is expanding its client service network in Siauliai and opens a new unit in a new shopping centre Akropolis. The new unit will provide all private and coporate banking services, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

“We hold client service units in all shopping centres under Akropolis name in Lithuania and Siauliai is not the exception. These shopping centres attract many people and therefore our aim is to help our existing and potential clients to arrange their financial affairs and shop in a single place,” Eivyda Balkiene, manager of Ukio bankas Siauliai branch, said.

This is already the second client service unit of Ukio bankas based in the southern district of Siauliai. Here, private and corporate clients will be able to have accounts opened, place deposits under favourable terms, be issued payment cards, have various financial transactions executed and receive professional advice on various banking issues.

On the occasion of opening a client service unit in Akropolis, Ukio bankas has launched several campaigns. The clients having ordered MasterCard Standard or Maestro payment cards in the new unit will be waived of a card service fee for one year and will be presented with a Virtual MasterCard card.

On this occasion, private and corporate clients placing a time deposit in the Litas in the new unit will be paid yet 0.1 percent higher interest. They are offered to acquire a Maestro Olialia card at a discount of 50 percent.

Meanwhile new corporate clients having opened accounts and ordering at least two MasterCard Business payment cards will receive Priority Pass and Virtual MasterCard cards as a present. Furthermore, new corporate clients having opened accounts will enjoy fee-free cash transactions and local and international money transfers for 2 months, whereas during the remaining 10 months – at a discount of 50 percent.

Akropolis-based Ukio bankas new unit will receive clients throughout the week from 10 a. m. to 10 p. m.

Presently Ukio bankas runs 12 branches and 49 client service units throughout Lithuania. Siauliai branch holds 3 units in the city and a subdivision in Radviliskis.
