OREANDA-NEWS. On March 10, 2009 Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced during the selector meeting dedicated to the issues of paying salaries in the regions that the Government together with Prosecutor General will control the state of paying off arrears of wages on private enterprises.

“In hard crisis time the main priority is payment of salaries and pensions, so these issues will be under strict control of the Government and Prosecutor General,” Yulia Tymoshenko accentuated.

The Head of Government underlined pursuant to the Criminal Code of Ukraine all the data regarding arrears of wages on private enterprises will be sent to the Prosecutor General: “If payment of salaries has been delayed, criminal proceedings shall be instituted by the Prosecutor General”.
