OREANDA-NEWS. On March 05, 2009 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) pronounced that actions of "TOPAZ" Distillery" CJSC and "Sibirsky Distillery" CJSC contravened Clause 2 and Clause 3 Part 1 Article 14 the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition" (unfair competition), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The companies violated the law by placing a collar label on the bottles of vodka "Green Mark. Traditional Recipe", special vodka "Green Mark Rye" and special vodka "Green Mark Cedar" with the expression "No.1 VODKA IN RUSSIA", which constituted an act of unfair competition. The Antimonopoly Service initiated the case against "TOPAZ" Distillery" CJSC and "Sibirsky Distillery" CJSC upon a petition of "Russian Standard Vodka" Ltd.
