OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 March 2009 was announced, that Absolut Bank’s www.absolutbank.ru site was recognized as the 2008 ABSOLUTE WINNER in the web site contest held among the banks included in the North Western Bank Association.

Contest results were made public on 5 February 2009 at the conference of the North Western Bank Association, which discussed results of Association activity in 2008. A total of 80 bank web sites were reviewed during the contest.

Oleg Skvortsov, Absolut Bank Deputy Board Chairman, noted that “web sites are critical to companies’ image, and very often clients first learn about a company from its web site.” He said that the “bank has always been guided by the principle of a maximum focus on the client, and that’s why, in addition to the provided services, the bank’s web site features market analysis materials, expert recommendations and provides interactive services.”

Last year, Absolut Bank’s www.absolutbank.ru, won the first prize in the web site contest. The Bank also won the first prize in the best Bank Web Site contest held under the Best promo campaign competition, and was the first in the Best Web Site Design and Navigation System nomination of the IXth federal contest of best annual corporate reports and web sites.
